At least one insurance company maintains that there is a direct relationship between what you do for a living and your risk of being in a car accident. Therefore, a scientist will pay the least amount of money and owners of businesses will pay the most. Not only does job type determine the cost of your insurance premium, geographic location, driving record, claims history, credit history, gender, age and car make and model also determine the cost of your premium. Therefore, if you are a teacher, you are in luck. The reasons for this are justified with statistical evidence.
